Ce choc nous met en route vers ce qui semble une finalit\u00e9 : dire quelque chose de \u00ab\u00a0<em>ce qui est<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. Il n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 regarder l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art pour constater qu\u2019entre les deux, nombre de cr\u00e9ateurs passent par diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes (commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0<em>p\u00e9riodes<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0) qui, sans qu\u2019elles se contredisent, affirment davantage le but. Mais que sont donc ces \u00ab\u00a0<em>p\u00e9riodes<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb ? Des\u00a0<em>lubies<\/em>\u00a0? Des techniques\u00a0<em>marketing<\/em>\u00a0? Des modes qu\u2019il faut bien suivre ?<\/p><p>Les motivations sont s\u00fbrement nombreuses et varient certainement selon tel ou tel artiste, telle ou telle \u00e9poque. Le plus souvent, elles restent enfouies dans le secret de la conscience de l\u2019auteur d\u2019\u0153uvre et nous ne pouvons que constater les apparences du changement. Je vous propose une r\u00e9flexion simple sur ce qui peut \u00eatre une raison \u00e0 la source de ces diff\u00e9rents actes.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>L\u2019objet respire. L\u2019objet (le donn\u00e9 objectif) n\u2019est pas statique, il n\u2019est pas emmur\u00e9 dans ce qui affirme sa singularit\u00e9. Il est quantifiable, mais cela ne le d\u00e9finit qu\u2019en circonstances. Pour \u00eatre concret et paraphraser H\u00e9raclite, on peut affirmer que \u00ab\u00a0<em>l\u2019on ne regarde jamais deux fois la m\u00eame pomme<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_48340_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0. L\u2019objet est soumis au changement. Il respire, plus justement, il est respir\u00e9 ! Dans un premier temps\u00a0<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_48340_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[2]<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0, il est expir\u00e9 vers nos sens comme le porteur d\u2019une profonde mission de rencontre. Il \u00e9tonne et fait ainsi na\u00eetre un milieu en lequel l\u2019intelligence saisit son aliment, sa part de v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Puis, dans un second temps, il est inspir\u00e9 et retourne \u00e0 la source qui l\u2019a vue na\u00eetre. Il est comme une parole, non pas juste du bruit fait avec la bouche, mais une v\u00e9ritable parole, qui nait d\u2019une personne consciente et se porte vers une autre personne pour lui d\u00e9livrer un message, une lumi\u00e8re vers laquelle on peut se porter pour se nourrir.<\/p><p>L\u2019objet s\u2019inscrit donc dans le mouvement de cette respiration. Le point d\u2019impact entre nous et cette respiration est un choc qui fait na\u00eetre une joie simple et pure. Elle est comme la conscience d\u2019un commencement, l\u2019affirmation concr\u00e8te qu\u2019un chemin taill\u00e9 \u00e0 ma mesure est possible. Il n\u2019y a pas rien! Et cela fait na\u00eetre un puissant d\u00e9sir de poursuivre la route. Cela peut passer inaper\u00e7u ou sembler banal, mais ce ne l\u2019est pas.<\/p><p>Ce matin, par terre, la tache color\u00e9e d\u2019une multitude de fines feuilles d\u2019un saule a fait r\u00e9agir mon enfant de 6 ans. Papa, regarde, elles sont belles ces feuilles, je les aime trop. Dans la grisaille uniforme, pendant la nuit, un Grand Po\u00e8te avait su les poser comme il faut sur le chemin de l\u2019\u00e9cole. Il est important de prendre cela au s\u00e9rieux, de se laisser interroger, accrocher comme l\u2019enfant, simplement. Cette exp\u00e9rience d\u00e9pose une marque, un premier amour, une trace ind\u00e9l\u00e9bile. Il n\u2019y a pas rien.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Nous le savons, cet \u00e9tonnement est d\u2019un instant. Les feuilles de saule, ce soir pi\u00e9tin\u00e9es, \u00e0 la sortie de l\u2019\u00e9cole n\u2019inspirerons peut-\u00eatre que d\u00e9go\u00fbt et nostalgie. Au soir, la journ\u00e9e a \u00e9puis\u00e9 les possibilit\u00e9s de la page blanche matinale et peut-\u00eatre ne reste-t-il des joies de l\u2019enfance qu\u2019un filet de tristesse qui nous berce d\u2019un lancinant \u00ab\u00a0<em>\u00c0 quoi bon ?<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. \u00c0 quoi bon puisque l\u2019objet passe\u2026<\/p><p>Il n\u2019est pas l\u00e0, il est l\u00e0, il n\u2019est plus l\u00e0. Il passe\u2026 Il n\u2019est plus l\u00e0 et cependant, ce n\u2019est plus comme s\u2019il n\u2019avait jamais \u00e9t\u00e9. La tristesse est le d\u00e9sir d\u2019un bien absent\u00a0<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_48340_1_3\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[3]<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0. Il n\u2019est plus l\u00e0 et pourtant, quelque chose de lui demeure. Il passe et il demeure. Il laisse un \u00e9trange go\u00fbt de lui, une pr\u00e9sence en attente, il est devenu quelque chose que je peux reconna\u00eetre en un instant et entre mille, sans me tromper. Le croiserais-je de nouveau qu\u2019aussit\u00f4t je dirais tout heureux : \u00ab\u00a0<em>c\u2019est \u00e7a !<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0<em>C\u2019est Lui<\/em>\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb Me le d\u00e9signerait-on alors que ce n\u2019est pas lui, je tournerais les talons. Les milles \u00e9tonnements que suscitent la rencontre avec le r\u00e9el dessinent en nous le visage de Celui qui les prononce. Cette parole le dessine en creux, sous la forme d\u2019une absence, d\u2019un d\u00e9sir d\u2019autant plus sourd et atone que la promesse qu\u2019elle porte est puissante. Avec un crayon aux allures de gomme, \u00e0 travers le passage de ce qui est, \u00e0 travers la pr\u00e9sence de ce qui passe, elle nous ouvre au d\u00e9sir de Celui qui ne passe pas. Elle le dessine en l\u2019effa\u00e7ant, elle l\u2019affirme en l\u2019inspirant. L\u2019objet n\u2019est pas statique. Nous pouvons le saisir en un point de sa trajectoire ou l\u2019appr\u00e9hender dans l\u2019amplitude de sa respiration.<\/p><p>La rose qui ce matin avait \u00e9close a perdu cette v\u00eapr\u00e9e les plies de sa robe pourpr\u00e9e. Et cela a du sens, mignonne. Et cela r\u00e9clame \u00e0 ne pas go\u00fbter l\u2019instant n\u2019importe comment.<\/p><p>Pour ma part, je veux essayer de suivre. Je veux essayer de suivre l\u2019objet en sa totalit\u00e9, le suivre en ce mouvement, le suivre jusqu\u2019au plus proche de la bouche qui le prononce. Je l\u2019entends et je le vois. Je le vois comme en creux, dessin\u00e9 \u00e0 grand coup de gomme, je le vois comme jamais, si s\u00fbrement pr\u00e9sent mais peint sous la forme d\u2019une absence.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>C\u2019est cela ce que j\u2019aimerai pouvoir vous montrer. Pour cela j\u2019ai besoin, pour un temps, comme l\u2019objet, de passer moi aussi. J\u2019ai besoin de silence et de travail, d\u2019\u00e9coute et d\u2019attention. J\u2019ai besoin d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 mon tour respir\u00e9. Cela est n\u00e9cessaire pour que ma peinture fasse ce chemin, qu\u2019elle essaye de suivre l\u2019objet, de l\u2019\u00e9pouser dans sa respiration. Si je veux que le peintre reste vivant en moi, qu\u2019il suive la parole et non un r\u00e9cit quelconque, c\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui un imp\u00e9ratif que de me mettre \u00e0 disposition de fa\u00e7on nouvelle. Je ne vous promets aucun r\u00e9sultat, vous l\u2019avez bien compris, cela ne d\u00e9pend pas uniquement de moi.
