Je crois aujourd\u2019hui que ce qui pourrait sembler au premier abord un frein \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation artistique est en fait un alli\u00e9 indispensable. Et si les incessants rappels de notre radicale d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard du monde cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e9taient de myst\u00e9rieuses et n\u00e9cessaires pr\u00e9rogatives \u00e0 la venue de l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art\u00a0? Philippe Jaccottet constate, au jour de la vieillesse, qu\u2019il n\u2019aurait surement pas \u00e9crit ni mieux ni davantage s\u2019il avait eu le temps dont il s\u2019est beaucoup plaint \u2026 de ne pas avoir.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Dire l\u2019articulation du monde avec ce qui le transcende passe par la souplesse de l\u2019abaissement, parfois m\u00eame, de l\u2019humiliation. Elle \u00e9duque \u00e0 la patience et au respect, elle oblige \u00e0 l\u2019humilit\u00e9, elle affine la perception. Plus profond\u00e9ment, elle trempe son pinceau \/ l\u2019artiste \/ dans l\u2019\u00e9paisseur du si\u00e8cle\u00a0! Elle lui donne d\u2019appartenir \u00e0 son temps. L\u2019art n\u2019accompagne la marche du temps qu\u2019au prix de cette attention l\u00e0.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Tellement d\u00e9pendant des circonstances, \u00e0 certaines heures, l\u2019artiste est comme noy\u00e9 par elles. Il ne peut alors que se taire et survivre dans la patience d\u2019une douloureuse agonie. La vie du pianiste polonais W\u0142adys\u0142aw Szpilman\u00a0<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_40220_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[2]<\/sup><\/a><\/span>\u00a0, qui a vu la destruction de radio Varsovie lors m\u00eame qu\u2019il interpr\u00e9tait sous les bombes le nocturne num\u00e9ro 20 de F.Chopin, illustre cela avec grandeur et gravit\u00e9. Le musicien, qui survivra au ghetto de Varsovie, aux camps de travail et \u00e0 l\u2019occupation nazie, ne terminera le r\u00e9cital entam\u00e9 sur les ondes de la radio reconstruite que six ann\u00e9es plus tard.<\/p><p>La vie artistique ne p\u00e8se rien face aux urgences du temps, mais elle lui survit\u00a0!<\/p><p>Notre \u00e9poque pleine de superbe est, sous ses apparences fastes, surement de celles qui oblige l\u2019art \u00e0 entrer en r\u00e9sistance.
